This vibrant garden changes from year to year to reflect the owners’ passion for plants. Tiers of dry stone wall terraces hold an original and fascinating plant collection, with richly layered planting in what was an old stone quarry, which is a surprising find at the top of a hill above the seaside town of Swanage. The planting is particularly good in July and August. New features and plants every year. OPEN FOR NATIONAL GARDEN SCHEME

Be sure to bring the whole family because as well as the competitive obstacle course, there will be child friendly games, stalls, a licensed bar, an ice cream van and a barbecue to add to the fun carnival atmosphere.

We are welcoming entries from individuals and teams. If you enter a team, remember to specify your team name, but fear not if you would like to enter as an individual, we will build teams of other individuals so you won’t be at a disadvantage.

A.L.I.C.E – AN EVENT TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR MENTAL HEALTH IN THE WORKPLACE.

Do you know what it feels like to lose yourself? Behind every smile there’s a story. Some wish to hide theirs to give them control and others wish to show theirs to let go. We invite you to Athelhampton House to lose yourself in an immersive experience where we urge you to explore YOU. Based around mental health, awareness of mental health in the workplace, and our beloved friend Alice, we want to educate and raise awareness, create an unforgettable experience for you, our guest, and to raise money for BCHA, specifically supporting their mental health department SMILE. There will be opportunities to donate and help the cause with a silent auction, inspirational speakers and of course to indulge in a scrumptious 3 course meal and entertainment.
